5 – 7 Keywords
Search Engine algorithm search for the keywords and narrow down the results according to your keywords and its concentration in the site. You can narrow your search results by adding more keywords.
When searching for something specific, try using quotes to minimize the guesswork for Google search. When you put your search parameters in quotes, it tells the search engine to search for the whole phrase. The search engine will search for content that contains those key words in any order. However, if you search using quotes, it will search for that phrase exactly as you typed it.
Gradually add search terms
First search with simple keywords and gradually add more words to narrow the search results to get better results.
Use an asterisk
Use an asterisk within quotes to specify unknown or variable words
Use your search history
If you’ve searched for something before and want to find it again, you can always use your own search history. This requires you to login into google account, while you are searching. You can go to http://google.com/history to see all of your prior searches. I always login into my google account while I am online, so all my searches will be stored in google history.
Keep it simple
Google Search has had a lot of improvements over the years to fill in the context for you. If you try to search for things too specifically, then you’re not putting those improvements to good use.
Search for two things at once
Using the word OR between two search terms you can search for both at once. This is helpful if you want to search for multiple terms at once, or if you’re not entirely sure what you need to search for.
Define a word
It can be your personal dictionary if you want. At any point you can always ask Google to define a word for you and generally it’ll tell you the meaning.
